A medical student named Zoe Parker is attacked by her disturbed patient Max at a party, only to be saved by a reanimated corpse, leading to years later where Zoe and her friend Elyse work as doctors using rotter blood samples in a refugee camp to develop a cure, but face challenges when encountering Max again and chaos erupts when the camp is overrun by rotters, ultimately resulting in Zoe killing Max, saving a girl named Lily, curing her boyfriend Baca, and sending a message about the vaccine to other survivors. The movie is inspired from Day of the Dead by George A. Romero. Day of the Dead: Bloodline was Produced by Yariv Lerner, Boaz Davidson, Jeff Rice, Lati Grobman, Christa Campbell and James Dudelson. Day of the Dead: Bloodline is written by Mark Tonderai, Marc Tonderai and Lars Jacobson and it is directed by H Ctor Hern Ndez Vicens. Lionsgate Films acquired the distribution rights for the movie.
