A filmmaker and her brother investigate a religious cults mass suicide from 25 years ago and discover shocking truths about their own family and the cults plans for the world. The Veil is a 2016 American English-language Drama Horror motion picture starring Jessica Alba, Lily Rabe, Aleksa Palladino, Reid Scott, Thomas Jane, Shannon Woodward and Timothy A. Wilson. Blumhouse Productions was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Jason Blum and Robert Ben Garant. The Veil is written by Robert Ben Garant and directed by Phil Joanou. Universal Pictures Home Entertainment acquired the distribution rights for the film. The Veil was released on 19th January 2016 and takes a screen time of 93 minutes. The Veil was made on a budget of $4 million. Cinematography was done by Steeven Petitteville and editing by Paul Norling. The music was composed by John Snyder along with Nathan Whitehead.
