I Am Legend

In a world devastated by a deadly virus, the last uninfected human, a virologist named Robert Neville, desperately searches for a cure while battling vampire-like mutants known as Darkseekers and is eventually aided by two immune survivors. The movie is based on I Am Legend by Richard Matheson The Omega Man by John William Joyce H. Corrington. Village Roadshow Pictures in association with Weed Road Pictures, Overbrook Entertainment, Heyday Films and Original Film. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Akiva Goldsman, David Heyman, James Lassiter and Neal H. Moritz. I Am Legend is written by Mark Protosevich, Akiva Goldsman, Richard Matheson, John William Corrington and Joyce Hooper Corrington and it is directed by Francis Lawrence. Warner Bros. Pictures acquired the distribution rights for the film. I Am Legend was released on 14th December 2007 and takes a screen time of 101 minutes. The Film was successful at box office. I Am Legend was made on a budget of $150 million and it was a super hit at box office gross of $585 million. The screenplay for the movie was written by Mark Protosevich and Akiva Goldsman.
