Carnival Story

In search of better business, a big American carnival opens in Munich, Germany. Joe the barker befriends attractive pickpocket Willie, finds her a job, and beds her. Then high diver Frank recruits Willie as his assistant. When Frank falls for her and proposes marriage, Joe takes the opportunity to brush her off. After the marriage, Joe figures he can still exercise his sexual hold over Willie; but tragedy intervenes. Written by Rod Crawford Carnival Story is a 1954 American English-language Drama motion picture featuring Anne Baxter, Steve Cochran, Lyle Bettger, George Nader, Jay C. Flippen, Helene Stanley and Jadin Wong. Carnival Story was Produced by Frank King and Maurice King. Carnival Story is written by Marcy Klauber, Charles Williams, Hans Jacoby, Kurt Neumann, Dalton Trumbo and Michael Wilson and it is directed by Kurt Neumann. RKO Radio Pictures acquired the distribution rights for the film. Carnival Story was released on 16th April 1954 and takes a screen time of 95 minutes. The motion picture made a box office gross of $2 million. Cinematography was done by Ernest Haller. The music was composed by Willy Schmidt-gentner.
