A black comedy about two 19th century grave robbers who find a lucrative business providing cadavers for an Edinburgh medical school. Burke and Hare is a 2010 English-language Comedy Thriller film starring Simon Pegg, Andy Serkis, Isla Fisher, Tom Wilkinson, Jessica Hynes, Bill Bailey and Rebeka Venters. Ealing Studios was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Barnaby Thompson, Nigel Green, James Spring, Paul Brett and Tim Smith. Burke and Hare is written by Piers Ashworth and Nick Moorcroft and it is directed by John Landis. Entertainment Film Distributors acquired the distribution rights for the movie. Burke and Hare was released on 29th October 2010 and takes a screen time of 91 minutes. Burke and Hare was made on a budget of $10 million and at the box office it grossed only $4 million. The screenplay for the movie was written by Piers Ashworth and Nick Moorcroft. Cinematography was done by John Mathieson and editing by Mark Everson. The music was composed by Joby Talbot.
