Small town girl Kitty Traves comes to New York with the idea of getting rich fast. Beginning as a model she then becomes a divorce co-respondent in hotel room frame-ups. When her songwriting boyfriend, Dan Barker, runs out of songs and money, she send him back to his loyal, true-blue fiancée, Linda Waring. She moves on to marry a wealth industrialist, with divorce and alimony her only goal. Written by Les Adams Alimony is a 1949 American English-language Crime Drama movie starring See Below, Martha Vickers, John Beal, Hillary Brooke, Laurie Lind, Douglass Dumbrille and Charles Sherlock. Equity Pictures in association with Orbit Productions. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Constantin J. David and Anthony Z. Landi. Alimony is written by George Bricker, Royal K. Cole, Lawrence Lipton And and Sherman L. Lowe and it is directed by Alfred Zeisler. Eagle-Lion Films acquired the distribution rights for the film. Alimony was released on 11th June 1949 and takes a screen time of 70 minutes. Cinematography was done by Gilbert Warrenton and editing by Joseph Gluck. The music was composed by Alexander Laszlo.
