A journalist named Shashi interviews a gangster named Satya, who is involved in oil smuggling and forces a girl named Madhu to love him, but after surviving an attack and killing the person who hired the hitman, Satya goes into hiding, leaving Madhu behind; later, Shashi discovers Satyas past, leading to Madhu seeking vengeance, but they eventually reconcile and work together to expose the truth, ultimately leading to a peaceful life for Satya, Madhu, and their children, as the gangsters responsible for their suffering retire from the underworld. Sri Vajreshwari Combines acquired the distribution rights for the motion picture. Om was released on 16th May 1995 and takes a screen time of 150 minutes. The screenplay for the movie was written by Upendra. Cinematography was done by B. C. Gowrishankar and editing by T. Shashikumar. The music was composed by Hamsalekha.
