A young man named Miles forms a bond with a damaged robotic dog named A-X-L and, alongside Sara, they fight to protect him from those who wish to harm him, leading to A-X-L sacrificing himself to save Miles. A-X-L is a 2018 American English-language Action Adventure film featuring Alex Neustaedter, Becky G, Alex Macnicoll, Dominic Rains, Thomas Jane, Becky G. and Chris Melissa Verdugo. The movie is based on Miles by Oliver Daly. Phantom Four in association with Lakeshore Entertainment and Global Road Entertainment. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Gary Lucchesi, David S. Goyer, Tom Rosenberg, Kevin Turen, Richard S. Wright and Eric Reid. The movie is directed by Oliver Daly. Global Road Entertainment acquired the distribution rights for the film.
