New Line Cinema in association with Saltire Entertainment. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Stephen Hopkins, Akiva Goldsman, Mark W. Koch and Carla Fry. Lost in Space is written by Irwin Allen and Akiva Goldsman and it is directed by Stephen Hopkins. New Line Cinema acquired the distribution rights for the motion picture. Lost in Space was released on 14th May 1998 and takes a screen time of 130 minutes. The Film was successful at box office. Lost in Space was made on a budget of $80 million and it was a hit at box office gross of $136 million. Cinematography was done by Peter Levy and editing by Ray Lovejoy. The music was composed by Bruce Broughton.
