The Wedding Plan

Michal is 32 years old. She became religious 12 years ago, and only now is she getting married. A month before the wedding, while checking out the catering for the event, the groom has a change of heart and the wedding is called off. Michal feels she’s unable to go back to ordinary life, to the usual course of matchmaking. She feels this is the moment to change something very basic in her personality. A simple belief that God is good and sweet; that He wants to give and is only waiting for her to wish it. Michal goes on a month-long journey lasting up to the planned wedding day: “I have the venue, the dress, the apartment; God can easily come up with my groom.” The Wedding Plan is a 2016 English-language movie starring Adesua Etomi, Banky Wellington, Richard Mofe Damijo, Sola Sobowale, Iretiola Doyle, Alibaba Akporobome and Stephen Damien. Ebonylife Films in association with FilmOne , Inkblot Production and Koga Studios. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Don Omope, Zulu Oyibo and Ijeoma Agukoronye. The movie is directed by Kemi Adetiba. FilmOne Distributions acquired the distribution rights for the film. The Wedding Plan was released on 13th June 2016 in English , Yoruba and Igbo languages. The Wedding Plan was made on a budget of $35 million and at the box office it grossed only $0 million. The screenplay for the movie was written by Tosin Otudeko and Kemi Adetiba. Cinematography was done by Akpe Ododoru and editing by Andrew Webber. The music was composed by Dr. Bayo Adepetun along with Michael truth Ogunlade.
