A disciplined admissions officer at Princeton University reconnects with an old classmate at an unconventional high school, helps a child prodigy get into Princeton, and discovers that the child is not her own, leading her to search for her real son while finding love and contentment in the end. Admission is a 2013 American English-language Comedy Drama motion picture starring Tina Fey, Paul Rudd, Michael Sheen, Wallace Shawn, Lily Tomlin, Ann Harada and Michael I. Haber. The movie is based on Admission by Jean Hanff Korelitz. Depth of Field was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Paul Weitz, Kerry Kohansky-roberts and Andrew Miano. Admission is written by Karen Croner and Jean Hanff Korelitz and it is directed by Paul Weitz. Focus Features acquired the distribution rights for the motion picture.
