A Good Year is a 2006 English-language Comedy Drama motion picture featuring Russell Crowe, Albert Finney, Marion Cotillard, Tom Hollander, Freddie Highmore, Rafe Spall and Austin Spangler. The movie is based on A Good Year by Peter Mayle. Fox 2000 Pictures in association with Scott Free Productions, Dune Entertainment, Ingenious Film Partners and Major Studio Partners. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Ridley Scott. A Good Year is written by Marc Klein and Peter Mayle and it is directed by Ridley Scott. 20th Century Fox acquired the distribution rights for the film. A Good Year was released on 9th November 2006 and takes a screen time of 118 minutes. A Good Year was made on a budget of $35 million and it was a hit at box office gross of $42 million. The screenplay for the movie was written by Marc Klein. Cinematography was done by Philippe Le Sourd and editing by Dody Dorn. The music was composed by Marc Streitenfeld.
