The movie is inspired from a screenplay by Nunnally Johnson. 20th Century Fox was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Herbert B. Swope and Jr. The movie is directed by Nicholas Ray. 20th Century Fox acquired the distribution rights for the motion picture.
