The True Story of Jesse James is a 1957 American English-language Action Biography motion picture featuring Robert Wagner, Jeffrey Hunter, Hope Lange, Agnes Moorehead, Alan Hale Jr., Alan Baxter and Danny Truppi. The movie is inspired from a screenplay by Nunnally Johnson. 20th Century Fox was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Herbert B. Swope and Jr. The movie is directed by Nicholas Ray. 20th Century Fox acquired the distribution rights for the motion picture.
