North Star

Set during the late 1800s Alaskan gold rush, a man named Sean McLennon takes control of a mining town by acquiring mining claims through murdering previous owners, leading to a conflict with an escaped, half-Indian miner seeking revenge and reclaiming his own claim, while themes of greed, revenge, and cultural clash are explored. North Star is a 1996 American English-language Action Adventure movie featuring James Caan, Christopher Lambert, Catherine Mccormack, Burt Young, Jacques Francois, Morten Faldaas and Bjorn Ungersness. The movie is based on The North Star 1956 novel by Henry Wilson Allen. North Star was Produced by Anne Francois. North Star is written by Heck Allen, Gilles Béhat, Philippe Schwartz, Sergio Donati, Lorenzo Donati, Paul Ohl, Maria Giese, Conchita Airoldi, Petter J. Borgli, Linda Chabert, Dino Di Dionisio, Anne François, Christopher Lambert, Alain Mayor, Luke Randolph, Jean-pierre Rosenberg and Janice Shapiro and it is directed by Nils Gaup. Warner Bros. acquired the distribution rights for the motion picture. North Star was released on 28th March 1996 and takes a screen time of 90 minutes. North Star was made on a budget of $18 million. The screenplay for the movie was written by Sergio Donati, Lorenzo Donati and Paul Ohl. Cinematography was done by Bruno de Keyzer and editing by Kant Pan and Michael A. Hoey.
