The Castaway Cowboy

A Texas cowboy is forcefully transported to San Francisco but manages to flee and ends up on a Hawaiian island where he helps a widow and her son establish a cattle ranch, despite the opposition from local farm hands and a bankers ulterior motives. Walt Disney Productions was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Ron Miller and Winston Hibler. The Castaway Cowboy is written by Don Tait and directed by Vincent Mceveety. Buena Vista Distribution acquired the distribution rights for the movie.
