Talentime

In a school setting, a music teacher organizes a talent show where seven finalists, including Melur and Mahesh, face challenges of ambition, jealousy, romance, heartbreak, and tragedy, leading to a hidden relationship and uncertain outcome for their love story. Talentime is a 2009 English-language Drama movie featuring Mahesh Jugal Kishor, Pamela Chong, Syafie Naswip, Jaclyn Victor, Adibah Noor, Mahesh Jug Al Kishor and Sukania Venugopal. Grand Brilliance was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Ahmad Puad Onah. The film is written and directed by Yasmin Ahmad. Cathay-Keris Films acquired the distribution rights for the film. Talentime was released on 26th March 2009 and takes a screen time of 120 minutes. Talentime was made on a budget of ₹13 lakh. Cinematography was done by Keong Low and editing by Raja Affandy and Affandi Jamaludin. The music was composed by Pete Teo.
