Speed 2: Cruise Control

A Caribbean cruise is hijacked by a former employee who takes control of the ships computer system and kills the Captain while Alex, a member of the SWAT team, tries to stop him and eventually saves his girlfriend and makes it back to shore. Speed 2: Cruise Control is a 1997 American English-language Action Adventure film featuring Sandra Bullock, Jason Patric, Willem Dafoe, Temuera Morrison, Glenn Plummer, Brian Mccardie and Gerard Smith. The movie is inspired from Characters created by Graham Yost. Blue Tulip Productions was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Jan De Bont, Steve Perry and Michael Peyser. The movie is directed by Jan De Bont. 20th Century Fox acquired the distribution rights for the motion picture. Speed 2: Cruise Control was released on 26th June 1997 and takes a screen time of 126 minutes. Speed 2: Cruise Control was made on a budget of $160 million and it was a hit at box office gross of $164 million. The screenplay for the movie was written by Randall McCormick and Jeff Nathanson.
