The movie is inspired from The legend of Robin Hood. Walt Disney Productions was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Wolfgang Reitherman. Robin Hood is written by Larry Clemmons, Ken Anderson, Vance Gerry, Frank Thomas, Eric Cleworth, Julius Svendsen and David Michener and it is directed by Wolfgang Reitherman. Buena Vista Distribution acquired the distribution rights for the film. Robin Hood was released on 8th November 1973 and takes a screen time of 83 minutes. Robin Hood was made on a budget of $100 million and at the box office it grossed only $86 million. Editing was done by Tom Acosta and Jim Melton. The music was composed by George Bruns.
