A man named Robin fights in the Third Crusade but returns home to find his land seized by the corrupt Sheriff of Nottingham, leading him to embark on a mission to steal back the money taken by the church to fund the war and eventually becoming an outlaw in Sherwood Forest. Robin Hood is a 2018 American English-language Action Adventure motion picture featuring Taron Egerton, Jamie Foxx, Ben Mendelsohn, Eve Hewson, Jamie Dornan, Paul Anderson and Keti Pjevic. Summit Entertainment in association with Appian Way Productions, Safehouse Pictures and Thunder Road Films. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Leonardo Dicaprio and Jennifer Davisson. The movie is directed by Otto Bathurst. Lionsgate acquired the distribution rights for the movie. Robin Hood was released on 23rd November 2018 and takes a screen time of 116 minutes. Robin Hood was made on a budget of $100 million and at the box office it grossed only $86 million. The screenplay for the movie was written by Ben Chandler and David James Kelly. Cinematography was done by George Steel and editing by Joe Hutshing and Chris Barwell. The music was composed by Joseph Trapanese.
