In a city in India, Aamir becomes infatuated with Neeta, but their lives spiral into chaos when she is assaulted and Aamir seeks revenge with the help of a corrupt police officer, leading to their downfall and reflection on their choices. Raakh was Produced by Asif Noor, Sangeeth Sivan and Aditya Bhattacharya. Raakh is written by Aditya Bhattacharya and Nuzhat Khan and it is directed by Aditya Bhattacharya. Raakh was released on 21st April 1989 and takes a screen time of 124 minutes. Raakh was made on a budget of ₹4 crore and at the box office it grossed only ₹1 crore. Cinematography was done by Santosh Sivan and editing by A. Sreekar Prasad. The music was composed by Ranjit Barot.
