Silsila

Two orphaned brothers, Shekhar and Amit, share a close bond, but after Shekhars death in war, Amit marries his fiancée, Shobha, out of honor, and they later have a car accident resulting in a miscarriage, leading Amit to have an affair with Chandni; however, Amit ultimately realizes his true love for Shobha, and they live happily together. Silsila is a 1981 Indian Hindi-language Drama Family film starring Amitabh Bachchan, Jaya Bachchan, Sanjeev Kumar, Shashi Kapoor, Jaya Bhaduri, Rekha Ganesan and Manik Irani. Silsila was Produced by Yash Chopra. Silsila is written by Mrs. Preeti Bedi, Yash Chopra, Sagar Sarhadi and Romesh Sharma and it is directed by Yash Chopra. Yash Raj Films acquired the distribution rights for the motion picture. Silsila was released on 29th July 1981 and takes a screen time of 180 minutes. The movie made a box office gross of ₹3 crore. The music was composed by Hariprasad Chaurasia along with Shiv Kumar Sharma and Shiv-hari.
