The film tells the story of Sachi and his girlfriend Vasudha, who unknowingly get caught up in a dangerous situation with two imposters posing as police officers, leading Sachi to seek revenge and face the consequences of his actions, while highlighting the issue of moral policing in society. Ishq is a 2019 Indian Malayalam-language Drama Musical film featuring Shane Nigam, Ann Sheetal, Shine Tom Chacko, Leona Lishoy, Jaffer Idukki, Lekshmi Nanda Kishore and Ali Khan Ak. AVA Productions in association with E4 Entertainment. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Mukesh R. Mehta, Mukesh R Mehta, A.v. Anoop and C.v. Sarathi. Ishq is written by Ratheesh Ravi and directed by Anuraj Manohar. Ishq was released on 17th May 2019 and takes a screen time of 134 minutes. The Film was successful at box office. Ishq was made on a budget of ₹5 crore and it was a super hit at box office gross of ₹16 crore. Cinematography was done by Ansar Shah and editing by Kiran Das. The music was composed by Shaan Rahman along with Jakes Bejoy.
