Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna is written by Karan Johar, Shibani Bathija and Niranjan Iyengar and it is directed by Karan Johar. Dharma Productions acquired the distribution rights for the movie. Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna was released on 11th August 2006 and takes a screen time of 192 minutes. The Film was successful at box office. Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna was made on a budget of ₹50 crore and it was a super hit at box office gross of ₹112 crore. Cinematography was done by Anil Mehta and editing by Sanjay Sankla. The music was composed by IIFA Award winner Ehsaan Noorani along with Loy Mendonsa, Shankar Mahadevan and Shankar Ehsaan Loy. At the 2007 IIFA Awards It won an award for Best Actress in a Leading Role (Rani Mukerji).
