Navarathri

A woman named Nalina goes through a series of challenging experiences over nine consecutive nights, including escaping a brothel, pretending to be mentally ill, helping a gunman surrender to the police, being accused of possession, pretending to be a man, and reuniting with her college mate Anand to get married. Navarathri is a 1964 Indian Tamil-language Comedy Drama film starring Sivaji Ganesan, Shivaji Ganesan, Aachi Manorama, Jai Ganesh, Ramasami V.k. and Savitri Kommareddy. Sri Vijayalakshmi Pictures was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) A. P. Nagarajan. The motion picture is written and directed by A. P. Nagarajan. Central Talkie Distributors acquired the distribution rights for the movie. Navarathri was released on 3rd November 1964 and takes a screen time of 164 minutes. Cinematography was done by W. R. Subba Rao and editing by Rajan and T. R. Natarajan. The music was composed by K. V. Mahadevan.
