Columbia Pictures in association with Marvel Entertainment, Arad Productions, Inc. and Matt Tolmach Productions. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Avi Arad, Matthew Tolmach, Matt Tolmach and Laura Ziskin. The Amazing Spider-Man 2 is written by Alex Kurtzman, Roberto Orci, Jeff Pinkner, James Vanderbilt, Stan Lee, Steve Ditko, Avi Arad, Tom Cohen, Beatriz Sequeira, Matthew Tolmach and E. Bennett Walsh and it is directed by Marc Webb. Sony Pictures Releasing acquired the distribution rights for the film. The Amazing Spider-Man 2 was made on a budget of $230 million and it was a super hit at box office gross of $757 million. The screenplay for the movie was written by Alex Kurtzman, Roberto Orci and Jeff Pinkner. Cinematography was done by Dan Mindel and editing by Pietro Scalia. The music was composed by Johnny Marr along with Pharrell Williams, Hans Zimmer and The Magnificent Six.
