A widower is cheated in a chit fund business, loses his family and seeks revenge against the main culprit after serving time in jail. Sree Amman Creations was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) S. A. Rajkannu. Mahanadi is written by Kamal Haasan and directed by Santhana Bharathi. G. V.
