A football-loving postman named Eric Bishop faces various crises in his life, including reconnecting with his ex-wife, caring for his granddaughter, dealing with his stepsons involvement with a drug lord, contemplating suicide, encountering hallucinations of his football idol Eric Cantona, improving his relationship with Lily, discovering a hidden gun, being attacked by a dog, orchestrating a plan with Manchester United fans to embarrass the gangster, and ultimately finding happiness and reuniting with his family. Looking For Eric is a 2009 English-language Comedy Drama movie featuring Eric Cantona, Steve Evets, Lucy-jo Hudson, Matthew Mcnulty, Gerard Kearns, Stephanie Bishop and Brian Mcclair. Wild Bunch in association with Film4 Productions. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Rebecca O brien. Looking For Eric is written by Paul Laverty and directed by Ken Loach. Icon Film Distribution acquired the distribution rights for the motion picture.
