In 2176, a Martian police unit is sent to pick up a highly dangerous criminal at a remote mining post. Upon arrival, the cops find that the post has become a charnel house. Ghosts of Mars is a 2001 American English-language Action Horror movie starring Ice Cube, Natasha Henstridge, Jason Statham, Pam Grier, Clea Duvall, Joanna Cassidy and Anthony M. Trujillo. Storm King Productions was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Sandy King. Ghosts of Mars is written by Larry Sulkis and John Carpenter and it is directed by John Carpenter. Screen Gems acquired the distribution rights for the film. Ghosts of Mars was released on 24th August 2001 and takes a screen time of 98 minutes. Ghosts of Mars was made on a budget of $28 million and at the box office it grossed only $14 million. Cinematography was done by Gary B. Kibbe and editing by Paul C. Warschilka. The music was composed by John Carpenter.
