The vampire Lestat becomes a rock star whose music wakes up the queen of all vampires. Queen of the Damned is a 2002 English-language Drama Fantasy movie starring Stuart Townsend, Aaliyah, Marguerite Moreau, Vincent P Rez, Lena Olin, Vincent Perez and Richard Wiggan. The movie is inspired from The Vampire Chronicles by Anne Rice. Queen of the Damned was Produced by Jorge Saralegui. Queen of the Damned is written by Anne Rice, Scott Abbott and Michael Petroni and it is directed by Michael Rymer. Warner Bros. Pictures acquired the distribution rights for the motion picture. Queen of the Damned was released on 28th February 2002 and takes a screen time of 101 minutes. Queen of the Damned was made on a budget of $35 million and it was a hit at box office gross of $45 million. The screenplay for the movie was written by Scott Abbott and Michael Petroni. Cinematography was done by Ian Baker and editing by Dany Cooper. The music was composed by Richard Gibbs along with Jonathan Davis.
