A man named Lem Siddons leaves his band to settle down in a small town, becomes the Scoutmaster of Troop 1, adopts a troubled boy, gets mistaken for a spy and is rescued by his scout troop, becomes a lawyer defending his friends claim to a lake property, and celebrates milestones with his adopted son before retiring as Scoutmaster. Follow Me, Boys! is a 1966 American English-language Drama Family movie starring Fred Macmurray, Vera Miles, Lillian Gish, Charles Ruggles, Elliott Reid, Kurt Russell and John Zaremba. The movie is inspired from God and My Country by MacKinlay Kantor.
