Dastaan

Identical twin brothers Anil and Sunil lead separate lives, with Sunil, unaware of his true identity, becoming a successful judge while Anil gets involved in criminal activities; their paths cross when Anil accidentally takes Sunils place and dies in a car accident, leading to Vishnu (Sunil) returning home and discovering his wife and best friends affair before unveiling their secrets in a play that results in Malas suicide and Meena learning the truth. Dastaan is a 1972 Indian Hindi-language Drama Thriller film starring Dilip Kumar, Sharmila Tagore, Prem Chopra, I. S. Johar, Bindu Desai, I.s. Johar and Sachin Pilgoankar. Dastaan was Produced by B. R. Chopra. Dastaan is written by Akhtar-ul-iman and I.s. Johar and it is directed by B.r. Chopra and B. R. Chopra. Dastaan was released on 3rd March 1972. Cinematography was done by Dharam Chopra and editing by Pran Mehra. The music was composed by Laxmikant Shantaram Kudalkar along with Pyarelal Ramprasad Sharma, Laxmikant Pyarelal and Sahir Ludhianvi.
