Chor Machaye Shor

A poor engineer, Vijay, faces obstacles in his relationship with the wealthy Rekha as her father tries to separate them by framing Vijay for a crime, but with the help of three fellow inmates, Vijay manages to escape prison and reunite with Rekha to defeat an evil politician and bring justice to a troubled village, ultimately leading to Vijay and his friends willingly returning to jail with the hope of receiving a shorter sentence. Chor Machaye Shor is a 1974 Indian Hindi-language Action Musical movie starring Shashi Kapoor, Danny Denzongpa, Mumtaz Askari, Govardhan Asrani, Tarun Ghosh, Madan Puri and Moolchand. Chandivali Studio in association with Filmalaya Studio, Filmistan Studio and K. Asif Studios. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) N.n. Sippy. Chor Machaye Shor is written by S.m. Abbas, Dhruva Chatterjee and Tarun Ghosh and it is directed by Ashok Roy. N.N. Sippy Productions acquired the distribution rights for the film. Chor Machaye Shor was released on 18th March 1974. Cinematography was done by K.H. Kapadia and editing by Waman B. Bhosle and Gurudutt Shirali. The music was composed by Ravindra Jain.
