Kora Kagaz

A couple falls in love, gets married, separates due to misunderstandings caused by interference from the brides mother, but reunites and lives happily. Kora Kagaz is a 1974 Indian Hindi-language Drama Musical movie featuring Vijay Anand, Jaya Bachchan, Jaya Bhaduri, Achala Sachdev, A.k. Hangal, Sulochana Latkar and Satyen. The movie is inspired from Saat Paake Bandha by Ashutosh Mukherjee. Shreeji Films was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Sanat Kothari. Kora Kagaz is written by M.g. Hashmat, Sisir Mishra, Ashutosh Mukherjee and Surendra Shailaj and it is directed by Anil Ganguly. Eros International acquired the distribution rights for the motion picture. Kora Kagaz was released on 4th May 1974. The screenplay for the movie was written by Surendra Shailaj. Cinematography was done by Bipin Gajjar and editing by Waman Bhonsle and Gurudutt Shirali. The music was composed by Kalyanji-anandji. At the 1975 National Film Awards It won an award for Best Playback Singer (Female).
