Attu

A romantic action film directed by Rathan Linga follows a low-life gangster who befriends a politicians daughter and must choose between love and loyalty, showcasing the challenges faced in an interior part of North Chennai. Attu is a 2017 Russian-language Action Drama motion picture starring Irina Starshenbaum, Alexander Petrov, Rinal Mukhametov, Oleg Menshikov, Nikita Kukushkin, Evgeniy Sangadzhiev and Rishi Rithvik. Art Pictures Studio in association with Vodorod 2011 , Cinema Foundation and Russia-1. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Fyodor Bondarchuk, Dmitriy Rudovskiy, Mikhail Vrubel, Gabriel Klement, Aleksandr Andryushchenko and Anton Zlatopolskiy. The movie is directed by Fyodor Bondarchuk. Columbia Pictures acquired the distribution rights for the movie. Attu was released on 30th March 2017 and takes a screen time of 132 minutes. Attu was made on a budget of ₹2 crore and at the box office it grossed only ₹13 lakh. The screenplay for the movie was written by Andrey Zolotaryov and Oleg Malovichko. Cinematography was done by Mikhail Khasaya and editing by Aleksandr Andryushchenko. The music was composed by Ivan Burlyaev.
