Great Sardaar

During the 1984 riots in Punjab, India, a gangsters reign of crime is challenged by two courageous boys, while the alliance between a spiritual leader and corrupt politicians leads to innocent suffering, prompting the emergence of a Sikh leader as a symbol of resistance whose murder fuels his widows quest for vengeance, as she recruits and trains a group of individuals to teach the corrupt politicians a lesson, ultimately highlighting the themes of power, corruption, resilience, unity, and resistance for a brighter future. Great Sardaar is a 2017 Indian Punjabi-language Action Crime motion picture starring Parmish Verma, Sonam Bajwa, Kartar Cheema, D.k. Bains, Sonu Bajwa, Gurpreet Barnala and Raaf Chaudhary. Great Sardaar was Produced by Amritjit Singh Sran, Ajay Devgn, Bhushan Kumar and Krishan Kumar. Great Sardaar is written by Dheeraj Kumar, Ranjeet Bal, D. Harp, Karan Sandhu, Teji Sandhu, Big Shankee D., Akshay Singh and Jaggi Singh and it is directed by Ranjeet Bal and Navaniat Singh. Panorama Studios International acquired the distribution rights for the movie. Great Sardaar was released on 30th June 2017. The screenplay for the movie was written by Dheeraj Rattan. The music was composed by Jaggi Singh.
