A struggling American football team in Miami replaces their injured starting quarterbacks with third-stringer Willie Beamen, leading to tension with the team owner and coach, but after a period of success and newfound arrogance, Beamen realizes his mistakes and helps lead the team to victory, earning the coach a job with a different team where Beamen becomes the starting quarterback. Any Given Sunday is written by Daniel Pyne, John Logan and Oliver Stone and it is directed by Oliver Stone. Warner Bros. acquired the distribution rights for the motion picture.
