A talented black athlete joins a predominantly white football team during the desegregation of Woodlawn High School in Alabama, facing racial tensions and challenges on and off the field, leading to a spiritual awakening and joint football camp between rival teams. Crescent City Pictures in association with Lightworkers Media and Pure Flix Entertainment. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Kevin Downes, Daryl Lefever and Joe Knopp. Woodlawn is written by Jon Erwin, Todd Gerelds, Quinton Peeples and Mark Shlabach and it is directed by Andrew Erwin, Jon Erwin and Erwin Brothers. Pure Flix Entertainment acquired the distribution rights for the motion picture. Woodlawn was released on 16th October 2015 and takes a screen time of 124 minutes. Woodlawn was made on a budget of $13 million and it was a hit at box office gross of $14 million. Cinematography was done by Kristopher Kimlin and editing by Brent McCorkle. The music was composed by Paul Mills.
