The Express is a 2008 American English-language Biography Drama motion picture featuring Dennis Quaid, Rob Brown, Omar Benson Miller, Clancy Brown, Charles S. Dutton, Darrin Dewitt Henson and Robert A. Young. The movie is based on Ernie Davis: The Elmira Express by Robert C. Gallagher. The Express was Produced by John Davis. The Express is written by Charles Leavitt and directed by Gary Fleder. Universal Pictures acquired the distribution rights for the motion picture. The Express was released on 10th October 2008 and takes a screen time of 130 minutes. The Express was made on a budget of $40 million and at the box office it grossed only $0 million. Cinematography was done by Kramer Morgenthau and editing by Padraic McKinley and William Steinkamp. The music was composed by Mark Isham.
