A 10-year-old cartography and inventions prodigy embarks on a journey to Washington DC, meeting interesting people and haunted by the memory of his twin brothers death in a firearms accident, to receive an award for his perpetual motion machine invention. The movie is based on The Selected Works of T. S. Spivet by Reif Larsen. Young and Prodigious T.S. Spivet was Produced by Fr D Ric Brillion and Gilles Legrand. The movie is directed by Jean-pierre Jeunet. Gaumont acquired the distribution rights for the film. Young and Prodigious T.S. Spivet was released on 16th October 2013 and takes a screen time of 105 minutes. The motion picture made a box office gross of $9 million.
