Childhood friends Kishan and Bishan are torn apart by Bishans familys greed, but Kishan becomes a successful singer and eventually saves his friend from a conspiracy orchestrated by his treacherous relatives. Yaarana is a 1981 Indian Hindi-language Drama Musical movie starring Amitabh Bachchan, Amjad Khan, Neetu Singh, Kader Khan, Neetu Singh Kapoor, Tanuja Mukherjee and Sheri Mohan. Yaarana was Produced by M. A. Nadiadwala. Yaarana is written by Gyandev Agnihotri, Vijay Kaul and Kader Khan and it is directed by Rakesh Kumar and Raakesh Kumar. A.K. Movies acquired the distribution rights for the motion picture. Yaarana was released on 23rd October 1981 and takes a screen time of 119 mins. The film made a box office gross of ₹5 crore. Cinematography was done by Peter Pereira and editing by Waman Bhonsle and Gurudutt Shirali. The music was composed by Rajesh Roshan.
