A philanthropist named Arun becomes Mr. India and uses his fathers invisibility device to foil the plans of a criminal named Mogambo, ultimately saving India from destruction. Mr India is a 1987 Indian Hindi-language Action Adventure motion picture starring Anil Kapoor, Amrish Puri, Sridevi Kapoor, Satish Kaushik, Annu Kapoor, Ajit Vachani and Mansi Upadhyay. Narsimha Enterprises was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Boney Kapoor and Surinder Kapoor. Mr India is written by Shekhar Kapur, Javed Akhtar, Salim Khan and Salim Javed and it is directed by Shekhar Kapur. Sujata Films acquired the distribution rights for the movie. Mr India was released on 25th May 1987 and takes a screen time of 179 minutes. The Film was successful at box office. Mr India was made on a budget of ₹3 crore and it was a super hit at box office gross of ₹12 crore. Cinematography was done by Baba Azmi and editing by Waman Bhonsle and Gurudutt Shirali. The music was composed by Laxmikant Shantaram Kudalkar along with Pyarelal Ramprasad Sharma and Laxmikant Pyarelal.
