Thushara

Sampath and Thushara are classmates in a relationship, but Sonia, who is Sampaths relative and friends with Thushara, faces pressure from her father and Sampaths mother to marry Sampath instead, leading to a series of complications and obstacles in their relationship, but eventually they marry and Sonia and Keerthi may develop feelings for each other. Thushara is a 2009 Sinhala-language Drama Romance movie featuring Saliya Sathyajith, Shalika Edirisinghe, Rex Kodippili, Buddhika Rambukwella, Piumi Purasinghe, Sahan Wijesinghe and Chanchala Warnakulasooriya. The movie is based on Yasapalitha Nanayakkara Thushara film. Thushara was Produced by Saga Films. The movie is written and directed by Sahan Wijesinghe. Thushara was released on 9th September 2009. Cinematography was done by K. D. Dayananda and editing by Ravindra Lal and Ruwan Chamara. The music was composed by Sarath De Alwis.
