Animus Films in association with Benaroya Pictures, Serena Films and Waterfall Media. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Michael Benaroya, Cassian Elwes, Tatiana Kelly, Laura Rister and Jim Young. The movie is written and directed by Brian Klugman and Lee Sternthal. CBS Films acquired the distribution rights for the movie. The Words was released on 4th October 2012 and takes a screen time of 97-103 min. extended cut. The Words was made on a budget of $6 million and at the box office it grossed only $0 million.
