The Pest is a 1997 American English-language Comedy motion picture featuring John Leguizamo, Jeffrey Jones, Freddy Rodriguez, Pat Skipper, Edoardo Ballerini, Joe Morton and John Wilkie. TriStar Pictures in association with The Bubble Factory. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Bill Sheinberg, Jonathan Sheinberg and Sid Sheinberg. The Pest is written by David Bar Katz and John Leguizamo and it is directed by Paul Miller. Sony Pictures Releasing acquired the distribution rights for the motion picture. The Pest was released on 7th February 1997 in English and Chinese languages and takes a screen time of 85 minutes. The Pest was made on a budget of $17 million and at the box office it grossed only $3 million. The screenplay for the movie was written by David Bar Katz. Cinematography was done by Roy H. Wagner and editing by Ross Albert and David Rawlins. The music was composed by Kevin Kiner.
