Dave Skylark, the host of a talk show, and his producer Aaron Rapaport, arrange an interview with Kim Jong Un, the leader of North Korea, but when the CIA asks them to assassinate him, they refuse and instead try to expose his true nature during the interview, succeeding in ruining his reputation and ultimately leading to North Korea becoming a denuclearized democracy. The Interview is a 2014 American English-language Comedy Drama film featuring James Franco, Seth Rogen, Lizzy Caplan, Randall Park, Diana Bang, Timothy Simons and Kat Ruston. The Interview was Produced by Seth Rogen, Evan Goldberg and James Weaver. The Interview is written by Dan Sterling, Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg and it is directed by Evan Goldberg and Seth Rogen. Sony Pictures Releasing acquired the distribution rights for the movie. The Interview was released on 24th December 2014 and takes a screen time of 112 minutes. The Interview was made on a budget of $44 million and at the box office it grossed only $12 million. The screenplay for the movie was written by Dan Sterling. Cinematography was done by Brandon Trost and editing by Zene Baker and Evan Henke. The music was composed by Henry Jackman.
