The movie is based on Characters created by Rick Jaffa Amanda Silver Premise suggested by Planet of the Apes by Pierre Boulle. Chernin Entertainment in association with TSG Entertainment. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Amanda Silver, Rick Jaffa, Peter Chernin and Dylan Clark. War for the Planet of the Apes is written by Mark Bomback, Matt Reeves, Rick Jaffa, Amanda Silver and Pierre Boulle and it is directed by Matt Reeves. 20th Century Fox acquired the distribution rights for the motion picture. War for the Planet of the Apes was released on 13th July 2017 and takes a screen time of 140 minutes. and it received positive reviews from critics when it was released and became successful at box office. War for the Planet of the Apes was made on a budget of $93 million and it was a super hit at box office gross of $481 million. Cinematography was done by Michael Seresin and editing by William Hoy and Stan Salfas. The music was composed by Academy Award Oscar winner Michael Giacchino.
