The Goldwyn Follies is a 1938 English-language Comedy Musical movie written by Ben Hecht, Sid Kuller, Ray Golden, Sam Perrin and Arthur Phillips. The movie is directed by George Marshall and produced by Samuel Goldwyn and George Haight under the banner of Samuel Goldwyn Productions. Movie producer chooses a simple girl to be Miss Humanity and to critically evalute his movies from the point of view of the ordinary person.. The goldwyn follies features Adolphe Menjou, The Ritz Brothers, Vera Zorina, Andrea Leeds, Edgar Bergen, Kenny Baker and Gloria Youngblood. The music was composed by George Gershwin. Cinematography was done by Gregg Toland and editing by Sherman Todd. The movie has a running time of 122 minutes. The Goldwyn Follies was made on a budget of $2 million. Distribution rights for the film were acquired by United Artists.
