A demoted reporter finds a story about a woman who is supposed to be dying of radium poisoning, brings her to NYC to increase the popularity of the newspaper, but they eventually leave for the tropics after it is revealed that she is not really dying. Nothing Sacred is a 1937 American English-language Comedy Drama motion picture featuring Carole Lombard, Fredric March, Charles Winninger, Walter Connolly, Sig Ruman, Frank Fay and Tom Ferrandini. The movie is based on Letter to the Editor 1937 short story Cosmopolitan by James H. Street. Selznick International was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) David O. Selznick. Nothing Sacred is written by Ben Hecht, Budd Schulberg, Ring Lardner Jr., Dorothy Parker, Sidney Howard, Moss Hart, George S. Kaufman and Robert Carson and it is directed by William A. Wellman. United Artists acquired the distribution rights for the motion picture. Nothing Sacred was released on 26th November 1937 and takes a screen time of 77 minutes. and it received positive reviews from critics when it was released.
