A demoted reporter finds a story about a woman who is supposed to be dying of radium poisoning, brings her to NYC to increase the popularity of the newspaper, but they eventually leave for the tropics after it is revealed that she is not really dying. The movie is based on Letter to the Editor 1937 short story Cosmopolitan by James H. Street. United Artists acquired the distribution rights for the motion picture.
