Stone and Gustav Von Seyffertitz. The movie is inspired from The Front Page by Ben Hecht Charles MacArthur. The Caddo Company was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Lewis Milestone and Howard Hughes. The movie is directed by Lewis Milestone. United Artists acquired the distribution rights for the motion picture.
