The Cable Guy

After a failed marriage proposal, architect Steven Kovacs befriends a cable installer named Ernie Chip Douglas who begins to intrude on Stevens life, eventually leading to a series of events that strain their relationship and put Stevens girlfriend Robin in danger, but Steven ultimately saves Robin and ends his relationship with Chip. The Cable Guy is a 1996 American English-language Comedy Drama movie featuring Jim Carrey, Matthew Broderick, Leslie Mann, George Segal, Jack Black, Diane Baker and John C. Moskoff. Columbia Pictures was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Judd Apatow, Andrew Licht and Jeffrey A. Mueller.
